How we work
Chosen and described
We do not make the products. We select ranges from specialist manufacturers and list the specifications available to us: materials, and where known the dimensions, the king height and the square size.
-
01
Selected by range
We buy named ranges, such as Ambassador, King's, Olympic and Tournament No.4, from specialist chess makers.
-
02
Described from the maker's data
Product pages list the materials and, where the maker provides them, the dimensions, the king height and the square size. Where a figure is not available, it is not stated; email us before you order and we will confirm it.
Contact

Ranges
The makers' names, kept
Ambassador, King's, Olympic, Roman, Classic, Tournament No.4: these are the names the makers use for these ranges. We keep them so that what you buy here can be compared with the same range elsewhere.
Delivery and returns
Delivery to the United Kingdom only, with a UK shipping cost of £0.00. Delivery times, returns and refunds are set out in our shipping policy and refund policy.
